THIS is the Day the Lord Has Made

This is the day the Lord has made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

"Yesterday is history (can't do anything about yesterday)
Tomorrow is a mystery (can't do anything about tomorrow yet)
Today is a gift." (Lets be glad for today and bring glory to His name)

Lets rejoice and be glad and be thankful right now, today.  Lets not worry about tomorrow.  Lets not think about what we could have done.  Lets show God we love Him by what we do today.  Not just in words but in action and in deeds.  Lets bring glory to His name by doing things His way.  Lets keep our eyes on Him and trust Him that "His grace is sufficient" for us today. 

God Is Good All The Time

God is good all the time.  Even if we can't see it in our present circumstances.  Keep your eyes focused on the Lord and on doing things His way.  "All things work together for good" but we don't always see the immediate results of that.  Hang on.  Don't give up.  Jesus said to Peter, "Are you going to leave me also" and Peter responded "Lord, to whom else shall we go, you have the words of eternal life".  How true.  Sometimes being a Christian is hanging on.  Sometimes faith in God means hanging on.  Don't give up.  He loves you and cares for you and has his eyes on you.

God is good all the time.  Lets thank Him in the middle of adversities and challenges.  Paul sang praises in prison and the walls literally came down.  We praise Him because we love Him and He loves us.  We don't praise Him to try to get anything from Him.  We praise our Lord because of who He is and we trust Him with His answers to all our prayers and thank Him for His decisions.
